Many of us know Debbie Clement who is known as Faith and Fifty on BCO, although she hasn't posted there in a while. If you remember Saint from BCO, you surely remember the friendship between them.

Deb is a Facebook friend, and someone I've been blessed to meet in person several times. She is a young children's book author, and a force of positivity who travels the world bringing polka dots, rainbows, music and joy to pre-school and primary students and teachers.

She is asking for prayers for one of her wonderpeep twinzees, (her granddaughter) 5 year old Mckenna who is in the burn unit of Children's Hospital in Columbus Ohio with chemical burns from a prescription ointment. As difficult as our own health issues are, when one of the little ones we love is in pain and in danger, it is so much worse.

If you could, please say a prayer or two for Mckenna, and her Gigi, (what she calls Deb) her parents and brothers.

edited to add a link to today's entry of Deb's blog http://networkedblogs.com/UTEID

May I add....my niece's second cousin....I don't know the child's age but she didn't look over 12...... passed away today after battling cancer. She was escorted home by police, fireman and the community. The little newspaper article I read said they were a small, tight community. She decided she didn't anymore treatments. Forty five minutes after she arrived home she passed away. Please say a little prayer for her family.

I am full of good news......

A friend of a friend's DD who was turning 47 this month leaving a 10 year old and a grown son. She started having abdominal pain around Oct. her tummy kept getting larger and her mom thought she was gaining weight. The DD didn't live here. Anyway her mom finally talked her into seeing a doc. She ended up in UNC-Chapel Hill. There was nothing the could do for her. She had a very aggressive tumor. I have the name oh the cancer written somewhere. From the time she saw the doc and was home only one week she passed away.....about 3 weeks after the dx.

One more....

A friend's 38 year old DD had a severe stroke.... Brain bleed. She and her DH and 5 children were coming back from D.C. and was about 20 miles from Wilmington when it hit. Her DH, father and father-in-law are all doctors so I'm sure she's getting great care. Her DH and sometimes her sister keeps everyone informed through Caring Bridge. She's doing better, but will never come back all the way.

So if you don't mind please say a prayer for these families.
